It is sometimes necessary to add new job requests to other job requests that have already been assigned to a service order. For instance, perhaps a client initially requested dog walks Mon-Wed. You then assigned the requests to a service order and began the process of confirming the walker's availability for Mon-Wed services. But then your client contacted you via direct email, text or phone to tell you about their additional service requests - dog walks on Thurs and Fri.
You can add these new job requests to the original requests that are already associated with an order. With the “Add Request” function, you can add requests to an existing list of requests as required.
How do I create job requests that are associated with a service order?
Navigate to the Job Requests page (DIARY & SCHEDULING > JOB REQUESTS). Then click on the order with assigned requests.
Click the "Add Request..." button from within the assigned order.
Add the details of the new requests, and click "Add Job Requests" when complete.
The new job requests have now been added to the requests that were already assigned to the service order.
All of the job requests (the original requests as well as added requests) are shown on the Job Requests page (DIARY & SCHEDULING > JOB REQUESTS). In this example, all "5 job requests" are included (Mon-Fri dog walks).
The job requests are also shown in the assigned service order on the client's ORDERS page.
After clicking into the assigned service order, click the REQUESTS tab to view the job requests. From here, the job requests can be edited, deleted, moved to another service order, scheduled, emailed to the client or sitter(s), or unassigned from the service order.
