INTRODUCTION
Due to changes to the PCI compliance rules (the rules which govern security of online credit card transactions) we have made some changes to the code that integrates Stripe with Pet Sitter Plus. The most visible evidence of these changes (as far as you and your customers are concerned) is the layout of the card details entry screen.
The new layout is more compact and no longer requires an address to be added.
Sometimes it is a requirement that a card is validated (on entry into the system) on the ZIP / POSTCODE. The decision to validate a card transaction based on the ZIP / POSTCODE is now controlled by Stripe and this decision is based on a number of factors, including the country you reside in and rules of the particular card issuing bank.
Your country is determined by the card number itself so as you (or more likely your customer) types in a 16 digit credit / debit card number, the ZIP / POSTCODE field may appear, depending on the country you reside in and / or the requirements of the card issuing bank.
